PTI make it Monday

For the first time I  took part in the Make It Monday challenge on the papertrey ink
  website. Really simple to make notebooks and I enjoyed making them.

Some new cards

Here is a selection of cards I made over recent weeks. Have discovered that I quite enjoy decoupage so this features in some.

I still love stamping and die cutting and have been busy ordering more   from Papertrey Ink.  I can resist anything except temptation!!!

Well I have been very lazy about posting so sorry for that.  have done lots of decorating, making cards for a local shop and bought a rescue dog. So quite busy really.

Will aim to get some photos on here soon of my recent creations.

Happy Birthday to me

Well I have had a great Birthday so far today. My family and friends have been so kind and thoughtful with their gifts and cards. As you will see from the photo, there are a few crafty bits chosen by yours truly.

I hope to find time this week to try out some of my new supplies, but I still have some walls to paint and a Christmas cake ice. Hope you are having a great weekend.x

Over at Stephanie' s blog there is a competition for Christmas card designs using at least one Clearly Bessoted product. Here is my offering and only my first attempt at a competition like this.

something different

Today decided to use some of my card making supplies in a different way. I combined die -. Cutting and jewellery supplies  to make some simple earrings which I hope to sell next time I have a card sale at my house.

I used "layered ovals" dies from Papertrey Ink to make the bases and I bought the flowers online originally for the centre of paper flowers for card making. Funny how supplies can cross over into other hobbies isn't it?

I think my next venture will be to make up some notebooks with the Binditall. I made some a while ago but they have been given out to friends of my daughters' whenever a birthday comes along . I will post the books when they are made. Enjoy  this extended summer! 

Clearly Bessoted

I have been having a play with two of the recently released stamp sets from Clearly Bessoted. The first is made from Home Sweet Home and the second also uses the sofa from Time to Relax. Hope you like them. Stay cool in this heat!
